What skills will I learn?
You will learn to take the correct measurements and use them to personalise a pattern which fits your unique measurements. This is probably the most crucial step in making clothes which fit you well and look good.

What will I make?
You will learn how to alter a paper pattern if needed to suit your own measurements to make a simple A-line skirt. You will then cut out and make up your skirt, learning all the techniques for basic skirt construction.
What do I need to bring?
Multi size Pattern is included in the class price. For making up your own skirt you will need your chosen fabric, matching thread, zipper. Fabric requirements will be notified on booking. Tea and coffee are provided.
How will I be taught?
Written instruction and demonstration of techniques as we go, giving you the opportunity to personalise your own pattern. Any adjustments will be transferred to your pattern before cutting your fashion fabric. This class is limited to four participants, so you are guaranteed lots of tutor time and guidance.
